MARGIE ADAM BRINGS PEACE LABYRINTH TO LANSING
Noted singer, songwriter, and activist Margie Adam will bring her PORTAL Experience to the Lansing area on Friday, April 21st, 2006 at 8:00pm at the Edgewood United Church at 469 North Hagadorn in East Lansing.
This remarkable evening of music and meditation opens with a single-set concert of favorite songs and contemplative piano pieces followed by a community labyrinth peace walk. Adam has created this unique cultural event to affirm and energize and progressive community spirit and action.
Margie travels with a 100-pound 36-foot diameter canvas labyrinth. Her new CD/DVD work, PORTAL, with its combination of contemplative solo piano music and a sunrise-to-sunset photographic montage of Scotland's ancient Callanish Stones will provide a multi-media environment for the walk.
